Anastasias and Sakunphet decided to apply for a tourist visas. Anastasias was confident that he could fill out the visa application without issue so in November 2022, the visa application journey began.

Disaster Strikes!
Everything seemed to be going well, Sakunphet and Anastasias were having a great time together in Thailand, and they were waiting on a tourist visa for Sakunphet so she could experience all Australia had to offer. Things were going great until they weren’t.
Anastasias had a jet ski accident and had to return to Australia for surgery. Having to rely on family to look after him, he couldn’t help but wonder how much simpler and better things would be if Sakunphet were in Australia with him. So, they tried to expedite Sakunphet’s visa application.
Respecting the Process – Tourist Visas
The request to expedite Sakunphet’s visa application resulted in a visa refusal. Why? Not all the required information was submitted with the application.

In hindsight, Anastasias admits that perhaps they didn’t pay as much respect as they should have to the visa application process.
Anastasias admits that he thought a person of his intellect and business acumen would be able to lodge what seemed like a simple visa application and get an approval without issue. The refusal of Sakunphet’s visa application brings to light that no matter who you are, what you do for a living or how much you earn, the visa application process is the same for everyone. There’s no special treatment.
Time to Call the Visa Experts
Needless to say, Sakunphet and Anastasias were disappointed with the refusal and realised it was a lot harder to get into Australia than they originally thought. They needed the help of an immigration expert.
