It’s a new year…
The first week of the year is interesting; so many people are still on leave and the roads are largely empty from the commuter traffic that dominates for most of the year. It is also a great time to wish everyone for the new year and see some familiar faces as normal weekly activities resume.
From a business point of view, it reminds me of the adage; you underestimate what you can do in a year and you overestimate what you can do in a day.
Now is the time for focus on the 12 month plan and ensure that everyone is motivated on the business goals over the new year. It’s all too easy to become distracted as the year winds on and the urgent tasks crowd out the important ones.
This year Visa Solutions will build on the sound growth platform that we built over the past year.
As part of building the business we will be announcing a new international office and new offices in Australia. It will take lots of hard work to progress these initiatives especially with a growing case load for all the team as our referral enquiries continue to grow.
The theme for our team in 2017 is commitments; we established them at the end of last year and this year we are aiming to keep them!
What does it mean for our clients and partners? You can anticipate higher standards of service, greater services internationally and domestically;
Highlight learning for the week is Simon Sinek and his thoughts on working with Millenials, not sure I agree with everything he says but he is one of the best speakers around.
Finally, one of the best movies I have seen in awhile, Lion, well worth the time if you want to get to a movie over the weekend.
