Visa Solutions Australia went above and beyond the call of duty when we needed a visa for a synchronized swimming coach to oversee and train our team in the lead up to the Rio Olympics.
The service they provided was second to none. There are only 300 synchronized swimming members in Australia so it is quite a unique sport. When our current coach stood down, we were up against it to find a new coach who could train them to Olympic standards at the Rio 2016 Games.
Our search took us to Canada where we found Lilianne Grenier. We needed a six-month visa for her as quickly as possible. I felt completely at ease dealing with VSA. I was told I could ring them 24/7 and had a direct mobile number to a support officer dealing with my case.
This was by no means straightforward as in order to secure the visa successfully, Lilianne had to leave Australia and stay in Bali while it was processed and also undergo a medical assessment in Bali.
The team at VSA kept me informed throughout, told me the fee upfront, which meant there were no hidden surprises. I was extremely impressed as they also had to deal with officials across different time zones. I cannot recommend them enough.
Now Lilianne is deciding whether she wants to coach the team on a more permanent basis and we will certainly use VSA services again, if we need a long term visa for her.
